Startwise allows platform mentees to post their questions in the discussion forum and interact with mentors for related guidance. Mentors can comment on the question and react by liking or disliking the question.
- Topics Subscription
Startwise allows you to subscribe to question tags. This enables you to stay updated on any new questions or comments posted for the subscribed tags. Subscribe to any tag and manage your subscriptions from the Subscribed Tags module:
On the Subscribed Topics page, the question skills added by the admin are displayed at the bottom. From the Question Topics List, click on one or more topics to subscribe. The subscribed topics are displayed at the top of the section.
To search for a specific topic tag, type the tag name as a keyword in the search bar provided at the top of the page. Select the topic displayed in search results to subscribe. To unsubscribe from a specific topic tag, click the
icon given with the respective subscribed skill. Click Unsubscribe All to unsubscribe all the tags in one go.
Subscribe and Unsubscribe from Topic Notifications
If you want to stay up-to-date with new questions for a specific topic, you can sign up to receive notifications about them via email. Here's how to subscribe and unsubscribe from these notifications.
Subscribing to a Topic
When you want to be notified by email of new questions based on a particular skill, you can subscribe to that skill. Go to the Subscribed Skills page and select the skill you’d like to follow. On the next page, click the “Subscribe” button.
Unsubscribing from a Topic
If you want to stop receiving email notifications about new questions that are not related to your topics, then you can unsubscribe at any time. To do so, you can go to the Subscribed Topics page and select the topic you want to stop receiving notifications for. On the next page click the “X” icon.
If you wish to stop receiving emails about every new question, regardless of the subject, then you will need to go to the forum email and deactivate the toggle under account settings:
